Kanguru upgrades USB flash drive line

K

Kanguru has announced security upgrades to its Defender range of USB Flash Drives.

The USB product, which the company say is secure enough to be used by government and military workers, comes in a tamper proof casing designed to ensure that its chip cannot be removed without it breaking, rendering it unusable.

Kanguru claim that the added security hasn’t comprised other features of the product and that the drive still performs well.

The company said: “With the KanguruDefender you get the best of both worlds, fast data transfer and industry leading encryption!

“It is ideal for carrying sensitive government or corporate information. It can be used with Windows operating systems and has a heavy-duty aluminium casing for extra protection,” it added.

The drive is available in a wide range of colours, with prices starting at $64.95 (£33.15) for the 1GB model and $124.95 (£63.78) for the 4GB version.
