PNY has unveiled a new range of USB Flash Drives with high-capacity and high-speed transfer rates.
The new PNY Attache device has 32GB of data storage and Optima ProUDMA CompactFlash boasts the same capacity with a data transfer rate of 40MB.
The new drives are ideal for multimedia, with the capacity to hold around 8,000 pictures or eight hours of high-definition video.
Tony Gomez, vice president of sales and marketing for PNY, revealed that the drives would meet the growing demand for high-quality USB flash devices.
He said: “The expansion of PNY’s photography solutions continues to build upon the need for bigger, faster storage devices to capture, store and display images and video, including high-definition content.”
Mr Gomez added: “The new line-up includes several, removable storage formats that meet the most demanding speed and capacity requirements for today’s newest digital cameras and camcorders.”
Meanwhile, Western Digital unveiled its new My Passport Essential Portable USB Drives, pocket size 320GB devices.
