About Ms. Newman
Ms. Newman is an internationally known health care clinician and expert on urinary incontinence, behavioral treatments including pelvic floor muscle training and the use of devices and products for the management of incontinence. She has written and presented more than 100 scientific papers, chapters, and articles on the assessment, treatment, and management of incontinence with an emphasis on the nurse’s role. In addition to her clinical practice, she is involved in research on the treatment and management of urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, prostate cancer and erectile dysfunction and is a member of the Patient Education Council of the American Urological Association Foundation (AUAF). She is the author of The Urinary Incontinence Sourcebook and Managing and Treating Urinary Incontinence. She is the co-author with Dr. Alan Wein of Overcoming Overactive Bladder and the 2009 released second edition of Managing and Treating Urinary Incontinence. Ms Newman lives in Berwyn, PA with her husband and three daughters.
