Cashman deploys CornDigital’s networked digital signage solution in effort to reduce chemicals used from printing process in the environment as well as the amount of paper wasted through brochures and other various marketing materials.
Henderson, NV, August 25, 2009 — Following in the steps of tradition for environmental awareness, Cashman Cat began working on a new company headquarters in Henderson, NV with one goal: to make their new building as environmentally friendly as possible. Their new company headquarters is the largest LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) designated industrial complex in Nevada.
In an effort to reduce the effects of chemicals from the printing process in the environment as well as reducing the amount of paper wasted through brochures and other various marketing materials, Cashman turned to Corn Digital’s networked solutions for Digital Signage.
Their new building boasts 20 digital displays driven by Corn Digital’s Ceres-86 networked players. It allows Cashman to efficiently and effectively manage and update company information both to employees as well as visitors and clients. With the use of Corn Digital’s MS1000 local server the entire Cashman system is an all inclusive closed network. “We are quite pleased with our digital signage system from Corn Digital.” Said Don Erlanger, Cashman’s IT Manager, “We use it to display information about our company in the main lobby and 3 other buildings on our new Corporate Headquarters campus in Henderson, Nevada as well as two other locations in Nevada.
