Client advertisements are now available from Elite Media on the Southwest’s largest fleet of taxis
Glendale, AZ, May 25, 2010 — Discount Cab, the Southwest’s largest taxi company, has partnered with Las Vegas-based Elite Media to provide local businesses maximum exposure to their clients and customers.
Elite Media, an outdoor advertising company that specializes in wallscapes, building wraps, billboards and other transit media, is now the exclusive provider of advertising for Discount Cab’s fleet of more than 600 taxis, including the nation’s largest fleet of Toyota Prius cabs.
Already instantly recognizable for their green paint scheme, Discount Cab taxis will now provide a conduit to Valley businesses through the Elite Media partnership.
“We were impressed with the way Discount Cab operates its business, combining quality transportation with significant green initiatives,” said Chad McCullough of Elite Media. “Their bright green cars stand out on Valley roadways and are perfect to draw attention to our clients’ ads.”

Prior to the Discount Cab partnership, Elite Media gained exposure in Phoenix by its work for the 2009 NBA All-Star Game. The company was responsible for the 60,000-square-foot T-Mobile banner ad that covered two sides of the Bank of America building in downtown Phoenix and featured the NBA’s top players.
Now in its 26th year, Discount Cab continues to thrive and expand. Craig Hughes, CEO and founder of Total Transit, Inc., the parent company of Discount Cab, was named the 2009 recipient of the “Taxicab Large Fleet Operator of the Year” award by the Taxicab, Limousine & Paratransit Association (TLPA), a non-profit association that includes more than 1,000 members.
