DocuSource President Receives Women in Business Award
Kathy Murchison recognized for Her Entrepreneurial Spirit
RTP, N.C. (August 7, 2009)—Kathy Murchison, president and CEO of DocuSource of NC, LLC (www.docusourceofnc.com), a full-service resource for printing and communication materials, has been selected as a recipient of a 2009 Women in Business Award. The award, presented by Triangle Business Journal at the 12th annual Women in Business luncheon, recognizes Murchison for her entrepreneurial leadership and sustained community involvement.
Held on August 6, 2009 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, North Carolina, the award luncheon honored 26 exceptional triangle business women for their success and accomplishments throughout the community.
“It is an honor and a privilege to be recognized among such a prestigious group of peers,” says Murchison. “This award may have my name on it, but it is really a tribute to the team of dedicated leaders and professionals I have been working with for many years. Their inspiration, encouragement and support drive me to strive for excellence in all that I do.”
Throughout her 35-year career, Murchison has maintained a solid focus on strong customer service and mentoring employees, enabling her to achieve success in all of her business endeavors. She has helped grow multiple businesses and participated in the acquisition of several North Carolina companies. In addition, Murchison has partnered in the start-up of two companies that serve clients in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
