DoxNow announce new USB flash drive

Manufacturing company DoxNow has unveiled a new USB flash drive allowing which will allow its users to create custom indexes for their files.

The drive, which will be available in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB versions, will give its purchasers complete organisational control over their data, ensuring quick file retrieval.

John Koci, president and chief executive of DoxNow, revealed that the drive could change the way users deal with data management.

“DoxNow isn’t your average smart drive – it doesn’t simply store your documents, it allows you to determine how they’re stored and, more importantly, how they’re found,” he told the Wausau Daily Herald.

“A smart drive is useless if you can’t find what you’re looking for. DoxNow is an affordable document management system that has advanced indexing and search functions users can customize based on what makes sense to them,” he added.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Technology has unveiled a range of upgrades to their existing USB flash drive range.

The drives now offer read speeds of 24MB to 38MB per second.
