Alliance means leading adventure travel company’s tours now available to travellers online through Expedia website
Sydney, NSW, October 22, 2010 — Expedia, operated by Expedia Inc., the world’s largest online travel company, has signed a partnership with Gap Adventures, the world leader in adventure travel, that will enable Expedia’s Australian customers to search for and purchase their own adventure tour via the Expedia website.
Gap Adventures offers small group adventure tours in over 100 countries around the world. Experiences available to travellers range from trekking the mountains of Nepal to sailing around the Greek Islands. Through Expedia’s new Tours tab, Australian travellers can research and book any number of Gap Adventure tours in addition to flights, hotels, travel insurance, activities and car hire on Expedia’s one-stop-shop website where customers do not pay any Expedia flight booking fees or change/cancellation fees.
