Fourth Annual Asian Publishing Awards given out in gala ceremonies in Ho Chi Minh City

July 23rd , 2010 – Eight winners and 16 excellence awardees from eight categories were awarded during the fourth Asian Publishing Awards (APA) on July 9, 2010. The event was held as part of the culmination of the Asian Publishing Convention (APC) held at the Hotel Equatorial last July 8 & 9, 2010 attended by 190 delegates from 17 countries.

Two lifetime achievement awards were also given to Mr. Le Hoang, Chairman of Youth Cultural Group Holdings and Dr. Doris M. Brougham, Founder & CEO of Overseas Radio and Television, Inc. and Studio Classroom.

The Asian Publishing Awards is Asia’s premier Awards program that recognizes best publishing practices in Asia. It incorporates the Asian Magazine Management Awards, Asian Book Publishing Awards, and Asian Corporate Communications Awards which attracted 70 entries from 32 companies representing 10 countries.

Category 1: Best use of multi-media by a corporate advertiser
Category 2: Innovative corporate communications in a multi-media world

From India, Tata Tele services Ltd. won the award in Asian Corporate Communication Category for the project “ It pays to do the new” and also won the award in Innovative Corporate Communication in Multi Media world category for the project Hear Speak Do- which was internal communication campaign for Tata Tele Services Ltd.
