USA, Matthews, NC. Point Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to announce that GreenBank of Greeneville, TN has begun implementation of the StaffPro Branch Resource Management System.
The decision was made after evaluation of several systems. With 65 branches across central Tennessee, GreenBank started by requesting the free staffing assessment offered by Point Enterprises to make an initial evaluation of the potential benefits. Assessments include a 2-year ROI and cost justification analysis. Implementing the free 60-day Trial of StaffPro enables GreenBank to evaluate the system in its own operational environment.
The free Trial includes:
- Perform an assessment and presentation to ensure that the effort will be worth it for both parties.
- Implement StaffPro during a 30-day grace period including:
- Develop a custom teller system interface
- Install StaffPro at GreenBank
- 2 training sessions
- Support during the Trial
- 60 days of post-implementation Trial operation.
- At the end of 60 days GreenBank can de-install the system or subscribe for one year.
Frank Snyder, SVP at GreenBank, noted that while the Bank fully expects to subscribe to StaffPro, the Trial virtually eliminates risk in the decision. Regardless of the outcome, GreenBank keeps and benefits from the reports, schedules and other valuable information gathered during the Trial.
Branch staffing expense is generally among the top non-interest expense line items for banks and credit unions. Optimizing branch staffing and scheduling can therefore have a greater positive impact on profitability than most projects. Surprisingly, only a minority of financial institutions in the US has any formal program or system in place to address the issue. It is not enough to have reports about overall transaction activity. Making informed decisions must include timing throughout the day, forecasting, scheduling, trend analysis and performance measurement.
Point Enterprises began offering the free Trial of StaffPro in the summer of 2009, in direct response to the banking crisis. It is clear that in difficult economic times every technology initiative must also be a good business decision. The free Assessment and Trial provide a way for financial institutions struggling with profitability and expense control to determine potential benefits to a high degree of accuracy without financial risk.
