HBOS chooses Saville technology for Project Green

In partnership with BT, system integrator Saville Audio Visual has designed and installed a wide range of audio visual systems, videoconferencing facilities and digital signage in the spectacular new building, set on reclaimed land at Harbourside.

In the main boardroom, Saville supplied a bespoke table with a suite of integral microphones and interface connectors for a multi-site videoconferencing system featuring a Tandberg 6000MXP codec and camera. The system is linked to a 4000 lumens Saville Megalite projector, mounted on a scissor lift mechanism which is accommodated out of sight within the ceiling void when not required.

Using a high contrast DNP Supernova screen, the projector is powerful enough to deliver clear images without the need for blackout. Control of the source inputs and room settings is handled via a cordless AMX Modero touch panel. The display screens are linked via the building’s CAT-5 wiring infrastructure, enabling video, text messages and live off-air or satellite broadcasts to be streamed to any appropriate part of the building.

Additional videoconferencing facilities have also been installed for ad hoc use in other meeting rooms, with Tandberg systems featuring wall mounted cameras, conference microphones and 42” NEC plasma displays with speakers.
