Janet Sieff, Business Development Manager with Paskill Stapleton & Lord, offers her advice in an article published by The Pittsburgh Promise in their magazine “Ideapod.”
Glenside, PA, October 22, 2010 — As part of her volunteer efforts for The Pittsburgh Promise, Paskill Stapleton & Lord’s Business Development Manager Janet Sieff has written an article for Ideapod, the organization’s magazine. Titled “At Your Service,” the article introduces those students who have been accepted at college to key offices and counselors that they will meet when they arrive on campus.
“Arriving on campus for the first time can be overwhelming, and I wrote my article to put new arrivals at ease – that just as there were people that helped them get into college, there are many people at their new college or university that are there to help them,” said Sieff.
Sieff brings years of admissions and financial aid experience to her career and to her volunteer efforts. Most recently, as the person in charge of business development for Paskill Stapleton & Lord, a marketing firm for higher education, she has been able to use her experience and her belief in accessible higher education to help promote the innovative scholarship and college access program.
A Pittsburgh native and resident, Sieff is a strong advocate for The Pittsburgh Promise. “Goals to support high school graduate rates and increased degree attainment are passionate topics of mine,” said Sieff. “I hope to continue to volunteer my knowledge of admissions and financial aid in any way that can help further the success of The Pittsburgh Promise and the students they serve.”
