HPG Partner Named to International Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C. (February 5, 2009) – Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP (HPG) (www.hpg.com), the second largest CPA firm in North Carolina that is owned and managed locally by its member-partners, announces today the appointment of R. Brooks Malone III to the advisory board of The International Accounting Group (TIAG®) (www.TIAGnet.com), a global network of accounting firms.

As a member of the TIAG advisory board, Malone will advance network growth and assure group members continue their commitment to the highest levels of client service.

Malone, a partner at HPG, heads up the firm’s Knowledge-Based Industries practice. This group serves investor-backed life science and IT companies. His areas of concentration include financial reporting, business consulting and financial planning.
