The HTC Gratia is a stylish handset that offers the Android experience at an attractive price. Having now produced a range of Android smartphones, HTC knows exactly what is required to produce a device with a compact and elegant design.
For the user who is yet to try the Google Android operating system, the HTC Gratia is a superb choice. The Android 2.1 Éclair operating system is installed on the Gratia and offers a range of cool tools. The ‘Polite Ringer’ function reduces the volume of an incoming call as the device is lifted, while enhanced support for email provides password protection and remote data wipe functions.
With the Android operating system comes HTC’s custom user interface, which is known as HTC Sense. This boosts the feature set of the HTC Gratia with a range of enhancements, such as the ability to group widgets and people, a universal search function, and HTC Footprints software to name but a few. Besides HTC Sense, there’s access to the Android marketplace, so the Gratia can be further customised to suit individual needs.
The HTC Gratia also has a good set of hardware features to match its impressive software. Powered by a 600MHz processor, this brand new HTC smartphone comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, 5 Megapixel camera, 3.5mm audio jack and microSD card slot. Of course, there is also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G capability to ensure that the Gratia can always be connected when required.
The HTC Gratia is now available from Clove Technology for £274.99 + VAT.
