France-based distributor releases new plug-ins to share images online from Canto standalone DAM product.
LILLE, 23 NOV 2009—Idéa7 today announced the availability of two new extensions to transfer photos online from Canto Single User software. The released plug-ins allow users of the standalone digital asset management (DAM) solution to upload directly images and their metadata into Flickr and Picasa Web accounts.
Built upon Canto Java SDK, ‘Upload to Flickr’ and ‘Upload to Picasa’ offer multiple options to specify the transferred photos’ visibility, license, size and watermark protection. They also allow mapping information to Flickr and Picasa Web fields with Canto Single User fields such as keywords and caption.
With these developments, Idéa7 is offering professional and amateur photographers who benefit from Canto Single User extended RAW formats support and metadata standards (EXIF, IPTC, XMP) an affordable solution to expose their creations online, receive feedback and generate potential business opportunities.
