LONDON, 6 March 2008 – On the 24th of April the Baltic Air Charter Association (BACA) will formally unveil a number of significant image changes, all aimed at better informing the public, the press and the political world as to the very forward-looking nature of the association.

BACA’s 2008 Awards Luncheon, being held at Plaisterers’ Hall, 1 London Wall, will centre around the official launch of BACA’s newly revitalised “quality mark.” The new BACA mark envelopes the already familiar BACA logo, which will then be used as a recognisable symbol of quality and integrity by the diverse air chartering industry. BACA, which has always expected its members to abide by its honourable code of conduct, will also be placing greater emphasis on its motto: “Our word, our bond.”

The new quality mark, proud motto and binding code of conduct are set to become the industry standard in 2008 for the entire air charter industry. BACA, which has always been known for its professionalism and industry dedication, is making great strides in 2008 to be more active and vocal. “We are the voice of the entire industry. Because of our history, because of our strength of membership and because of our sincere concern for this vital industry, BACA is taking broad action this year to be highly active, vocal and much more accessible to the public and press,” said Markham Jackson, BACA Chairman.

The 2008 BACA Awards Luncheon will begin this year at 12:00 p.m. Press passes are limited if you wish to attend please contact Sarah A. Chase at Image Line Communications. Sarah can be reached via telephone +44 (0)20 7689 9009 or via e-mail: [email protected].
