The International Academy of Design and Technology – Detroit celebrates a new class of graduates June 25.

Troy, MI, June 24, 2011 — The International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) –Detroit http://www.iadt.edu/Detroit will hold its 2011 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 25. Students that successfully completed their program of study will be earning one of the following degrees: Associate of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media Production, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design & Merchandising, Bachelor of Fine Arts Game Production, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, or Bachelor of Science in Construction Management Design.

“Graduation is my favorite event of the year,” said Cynthia Bechill, President of IADT-Detroit. “This year we are celebrating with the largest graduating class in our campus history! The students work very hard to reach this point, and we’re honored that they chose to earn their design and technology degrees at IADT.”

In addition to the degrees conferred this year, students currently attending IADT-Detroit now have the opportunity to earn a degree in one of IADT’s new programs, such as Web Design & Development, Internet Marketing, Retail Merchandise Management, and Information Technology.

The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Shriners Silver Garden Events Center (2430 Southfield Road in Southfield, Mich.). The keynote speaker at the commencement will be Mark Soderwall, an established Art Director, Visual Designer and Game Industry Consultant.
