International Plastic Surgery Portal in A New Guise

I

International plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine portal Estheticon.com / Cosmetic-Plastic-Surgery.info (www.cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info/) has been launched in a new guise. The portal now has over a thousand paying clients (doctors and clinics) from all over the world, receives 900 000 unique visitors per month, has 11 language versions a covers a large variety of medical fields. That has necessitated a completely new programming background and design.

Liberec, Czech Republic, July 17, 2010 — “The most obvious change is definitely the layout, which is more user-friendly and attractive. In the discussion forums across all language versions you can now sign up to receive message alerts. Clients, such as doctors or clinics, can take advantage of functions not available before — they have significantly greater scope to oversee their web content and at the same time they will receive a better overview of strategic business matters related to the portal” says Pavel Hilbert, managing partner of the portal, who summarises the new developments.

“The initial project was designed only for the plastic surgery field and a handful of languages. Today, the portal has eleven language versions and covers nearly all medical fields. We receive 900,000 unique visitors per month”.

In addition to the main English (http://www.cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info/) and German (http://www.kosmetische-plastische-chirurgie.eu/ ) sites, the project has sites in Russian, Italian, Arabic, Czech, Hungarian, Croatian, Polish, Romanian and Slovak. A unique feature of this project is that most new users do not enter the site through the homepage but as a result of checking for specific medical issues and procedures via search engines.
