Iomego has revamped its eGo portable hard drives, adding new models with more disk space to the range.

The popular product line, which is both USB and FireWire compatible, will now boast top-range drives which can hold 160GB and 250GB worth of media content, documents and other files.

The eGo drive will be available in a host of colours, including alpine white, cherry red and jet black, as it did when in it first launched in September 2007.

Claiming that the stylish drives were the first to come in a range of hues, Iomega president Tom, Kampfer said: “With the eGo Portable Hard Drive, Iomega shook up the industry by introducing fashion to a world previously known for little grey and black boxes.

“Now we’re raising the bar with exciting new models that offer more capacity and connectivity with PCs and Macs,” he added.

Recently Fabrik unveiled improvements to its Signature Mini USB drives, introducing an array of new colours and capacities to the popular range.
