Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, today invited its young guests for an educational excursion at its flight simulator. JetSpark is a unique initiative by the airline to connect with and build long-term relationships with its young guests between the age group of 2 – 21 years. Through this dedicated forum, Jet Airways plans to engage its young guests through exclusive events, offers and customised promotions to ensure that the airline emerges as the definitive choice for these future flyers.

Jet Airways (India) Ltd

Launched last year, JetSpark hosted around forty such future travelers, the airline’s young JetPrivilege members aged between 12 to 20 years.

At a half-day event held in Mumbai, the young JetPrivilege members were taken to the airline’s Flight Simulator where they were instructed on how pilots fly aircraft. The youngsters  also got an opportunity to ‘fly’ the state of art Boeing 777 and Airbus 330 ‘aircraft’ under expert supervision and guidance of experienced Jet Airways pilots.

Noted Bollywood actor Dia Mirza interacted with the young guests.

Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, “JetSpark is truly a one of its kind property created with the specific intention of nurturing a strong bond with our future flyers by being an integral part of their formative years. We expect such funfilled educational exercises to encourage young guests to further explore the fascinating world of aviation.”

The young guests participated in quiz contests and interacted with Jet Airways Flight Engineers, Pilots and in-flight crew. They also observed videos of assembling of aircraft, besides landings and take offs of planes.

The young guests were selected from a large database of JetPrivilege members.

Jet Airways conducted an essay competition ‘My dream destination’ and 3 winners from 3 age-groups were selected and given the free tickets to their dream destination on the Jet Airways network. Jet Airways and Gini & Jony gift hampers were handed over to young guests along with special gifts from Reebok, Crossword Kimaya and Fantasie Chocolates. Refreshments were courtesy Sky Gourmet Group.
