Birmingham, West Midlands, July 23, 2010 — NuVybe Records Presents “The UTurn Project”. Nu Vybe are an independent company that believes strongly in “stepping out of the box” when it comes to direction and musical creativity.
NuVybe Records, the home of Herb Middleton’s newly discovered genre called “Bridgemusic” has now coined another catchy phrase and powerful creation called “The UTurn Project”. The “Uturn” project sponsored by NuVybe Records and produced by Herb Middleton is a musical compilation that features some of world’s greatest independent acts representing several different styles of soulful music. Those acts include the entire NuVybe roster and other artists from the US and UK.
Mr Herb Middleton,CEO of NuVybe Records says that the music industry has taken a turn for the worse. Record sales have been declining now for well over a decade. Retail record stores have been closing. And independent artists have been struggling while the faces of popular major artists remain in the forefront. R&B/Soul music has lost it’s position on our mainstream radio stations to most songs with no substance or feeling. Black music has dissolved. Music videos exhibit nothing shorter than daytime pornography.
Our children have been poisoned by lyrics that innocently leave an evil imprint in their minds about sex and love. Gun violence still dominates our inner cities.
After the looking at these cycles, Herb Middleton wrote:

Herb Middleton met Godfrey Fletcher on facebook after Jeff Murrell traveled to the UK. It wasn’t by coincidence that Herb found out that Godfrey headed up the street team for Bad Boy Entertainment, a company that Herb produced music for in the 90’s. It was by divine appointment.
Mr Godfrey Fletcher, aka “DJ Niceness” introduced Mr Middleton to some of the best talent in the UK and two unique new acts from the US, Ozara Ode and Gianna Welling, now a NuVybian along with Juliette. All of these and many more will be packaged on a double CD. This project is one that won’t be found online.
The first single off of this music lovers collectors item is title cut “UTurn”. There are eight different performers on one record. Those artists are Clover Douglas, The Gar, Juliette, Sarah Fonteyene, Coco Brown, Manny Moscow, Cecilia Stalin and Dj Dk.
