Mr. Parrott was invited to present “Commercial Vehicles, How & Why They Burn” to 33rd Annual PAAI (Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators) Seminar focused in 2010 on Vehicle Fire Investigation. His presentation provided background information on commercial vehicles and equipment and the necessary knowledge and special challenges of conducting a proper origin and cause fire investigation on these types of vehicles and equipment and reviewed case studies involving truck and bus fires.

Fort Wayne, IN, August 31, 2010 — Kerry Parrott presented “Commercial Vehicles, How & Why They Burn” to 33rd Annual PAAI (Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators) Seminar focused on Vehicle Fire Investigation. Mr. Parrott, along with several other experienced vehicle fire experts, was invited to present at the seminar in State College, Pennsylvania, focused this year on vehicle fire investigation. His presentation provided background information on commercial vehicles and equipment and the necessary knowledge and special challenges of conducting a proper origin and cause fire investigation and analysis involving these vehicles. Additionally, he reviewed several case studies of truck, bus, and other commercial vehicle fires dealing with specific fire origin determination and cause analysis investigations.

Parrott is an engineering consultant specializing in origin and cause fire investigation and analysis and forensic engineering failure analysis of commercial vehicle and equipment. Over the last decade he has successfully specialized in the fire investigation of trucks, buses, RVs, and other commercial vehicles, military vehicles, and heavy, industrial, and truck mounted equipment. He is a degreed Mechanical Engineer, Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, and Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator and holds a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License with multiple endorsements.
