HB&G Building Products CEO Lance Servais plans to put the emphasis on sales and marketing, and new product development for the world leader in fiberglass architectural columns.
Goshen, AL, January 28, 2010 — HB&G Building Products has announced the appointment of Lance Servais as their new CEO. Servais brings extensive experience and leadership to the porch products manufacturer. Prior to joining HB&G, Servais was President of Remington Power Tools, Vice President & General Manager of Hamilton Beach Global Commercial and has held several key executive positions with the Maytag Corporation.
In addition to receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida, and a Masters Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, Servais attended the Colorado Springs Center for Creative Leadership, as well as the G.E. Professional Managers program and the Development Dimensions International Program. He is currently a professional member of the Society of International Business Fellowship.
In an effort to better support the current HB&G distribution network, Servais plans to grow the business with an emphasis on sales and marketing, and new product development.
HB&G’s headquarters and manufacturing facilities for PermaCast columns are located in Troy, Alabama. Servais and his wife Jan, plan to relocate to the Troy area from Richmond, Virginia.
