Let’s ‘End Times’ by nuclear clock, not war, by solving the leap second problem.

The International Telecommunications Union has still been unable to solve the leap second problem. This independent proposal gives a technical explanation and a broader theory why the problem has not been solved, as well as offering an alternative solution.

That is – to change and extend our calendar that aligns with our global times; create a second prime meridian for civic time while retaining the astronomical prime meridian at GMT; requiring us to ‘stop time on Earth over a day; at the suggested year of 2020. This would not only solve the leap second problem,; but prepare us for our third millennial geo-political world; as well as finally rid us of the burden of the ‘End Times prophecy’, through science and technology; as the sweetest of ironies.

This is a refined version of the submitted proposal to the Astronomer Royal, Martin Rees, The Royal Society, BIPM France and the ITU headquarters in Geneva to the Australian branch; between 25 12 2011 to 12 12 12 @ 12:12 P.M. for formal consideration.

Although this must be decided by ITU experts, given the importance of how time operates and is expressed to all humans, this announcement is free to all whom may also desire to rid us of not just the leap second problem, but the never-ending ‘end times’ obsession once and for all
