Lifetree Adventures Announces 2010 Israel Christian Tour Dates

L

Loveland, CO, November 20, 2009 ? Lifetree Adventures announced today Israel Christian Tour options for 2010. The 12 day tour combining service with culture will run May 23 ? June 2, 2010 and November 7-18, 2010.
The promised land of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is today a nation with a proud history of survival against all odds, its people have created an oasis in the desert. Yet despite Israel?s astonishing success story, many human needs still exist. The government can only do so much, and it is up to concerned individuals to now extend the love of God to the less fortunate descendants of his chosen people.
Volunteers on the Israel Christian tour will have the opportunity to work in the farms and fields, side-by-side with Israeli families, or serve at a food bank in ancient city of Jerusalem. The sights and sounds of the City of David will take them back to scenes they read about in the Bible.
Volunteers will also be able to help out at a hospital and spend time in a Jewish community, cleaning and repairing homes for the elderly?men and women who have seen much sadness and suffering in their lifetimes. By helping others with health problems or physical limitations, volunteers will find themselves extending the same kind of compassion and healing love that Jesus shared with His people in this very same place.
