The 2009 High Liability Instructor Conference just outside of Tallahassee, Florida at the Florida Public Safety Institute started the week of instruction with opening ceremonies featuring guest speaker Lt.

“This was an excellent opportunity to encourage the men and women who protect us at home and give them a few insights about what it really takes to catch your second wind,” stated Col. Weinstein about the conference.

About 500 law enforcement instructors from several states attended the conference located at the Tallahassee Community College in Havana, Florida. The Florida Public Safety Institute is the home of the Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Law Enforcement Academy, the Tallahassee Fire Academy and the Center of Excellence for Law Enforcement Intelligence.
