As the run up to the 2010 Christmas party season starts in earnest, it’s been an exceptional weekend for value fashion retailer Peacocks in the UK media, with some big hits across a range of blue chip titles.

Meanwhile in the Sunday Mirror Celebs On Sunday supplement, the fashion team shows what party trends are hot, with items from Peacocks accessories and footwear ranges featured. Elsewhere in the magazine, Ola Jordan from TV’s popular Strictly programme wears Peacocks sequin top and headband as she models this season’s party wear: looking every inch the belle of the ball. And in Take It Easy magazine, the fashion advice is add sparkle to your outfit with sequin items, and this weekend Peacocks heart shaped sequin clutch bag is shown as the perfect way to wear them.

In The Times this weekend, Caitlin Moran showed off her £50 look, singing the praises of the Pearl Lowe for Peacocks leopard print dress, describing it as her favourite, showing that style doesn’t have to cost the earth. Also running with the value theme, Buzz magazine featured Peacocks Balmain inspired dress in its inspirational Chiconomics feature.
