Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL; President: Akimitsu Ashida) today announced the opening of the new route “SMX” linking Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Kelang, and Chennai starting on March 23.
Chennai, a major market on India’s east coast, is positioned for future growth. The SMX route will draw on MOL’s full-scale network to offer a wide variety of both inbound and outbound service to meet rising demands in this region.
MOL will meet a broad range of customer needs by continually offering high-quality services to India’s growing markets, along with its current India West Coast NKX service.
