A Navy Suit is More than a Garment and Worn Properly can Make a Style Statement

AUSTRALIA, Brisbane (October 2010) – A navy suit is much more than just a suit and in fact can be worn differently to make many style statements. The versatility of the navy suit allows a person to use the suit in a variety of ways.
Making a style statement is important for some individuals and necessary in particular industries. A navy suit, when worn properly, is a versatile garment and worth the price as it is an investment.
Individuals who wear suits typically do so for a career in order to make an effective statement in the industry. However, after hours these same people make statements with friends and family as well. These statements may be father, church goer, or friend. A navy suit typically reserved for a business day can be worn differently throughout the week nights rather than only once during work hours.
A Sunday afternoon with friends and family, perhaps a midday lunch, is a perfect scenario to wear a navy suit. However, the suit isn’t worn in the traditional way. Instead the jacket is worn over a lightweight sweater matched with a pair of corduroy pants. This ensemble is casual yet sophisticated and comfortable.
Towards the end of the week many friends gather for a dinner out and the navy suit can be used in this situation as well. The shirt worn with the navy suit must be a shirt with a high collar as this will dress the suit up a bit and take the eyes off the navy colour. Big cuff links are a must for the shirt along with high pearl buttons. This look is a bit more dressed up for dinner and provides a different look than the work hour suit.
Another way to set a navy suit apart from just an ordinary look is to dress the suit up for work using a shirt and cuffs. French cuffs provide a certain air of elegance and when paired with a shirt which has bold stripes really makes an individuality statement as opposed to a plain navy work suit.
Making style statements can sometimes be difficult with a navy suit but by wearing the navy suit properly many individual statements can be made. These various styles transform a navy suit into one garment into a flexible article which can be used in many more forms and fashions.
