Dryer vent cleaning could have prevented a recent dryer fire that caused major damage and drove a family of four from their Racine home. The 11 year old grandson ran to a neighbor’s to call 911. By the time firefighters arrived, everyone was out safely, except the dog. Firefighters found him in his cage and residents were overjoyed when they carried him out, alive and well.
