IPS Packaging welcomes Alan Sanger to their company as the Charlotte Sales Manager. Sanger started in his new position on January 4, 2010. IPS Packaging is a privately owned packaging company that provides packaging supplies and equipment worldwide
Sanger’s past professional experience includes Business Advisor at Thomas Sales and Logistics in Memphis, TN. He also served as the Regional Manager for Wurzburg, Inc in Memphis, during which time he led his sales team to 104.5% of quota at the end of 2008. The team ranked first out of five teams with sales in excess of $30 million.
“Alan’s packaging experience, corporate accounts knowledge, and sales leadership skills will greatly strengthen our sales focus in Charlotte,” said Greg Schuliger, Vice President of Sales, IPS Packaging.
Throughout his career, Sanger has proven his leadership abilities that are necessary to grow sales and capture new business. He has successfully held sales positions with International Paper and Champion International.
Sanger holds an MBA from Franklin University in Columbus, OH as well as a master’s degree in Political Science from NC State University. Sanger graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 1980 and served 28 years military service in the US Army; including 3 years active enlisted service, 12 years active commissioned service, 12 years reserve service, and one-year mobilization tour for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Alan retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
