Nottinghamshire Firm Launch New Health and Safety Policy Service In East Midlands

Mansfield-based health and safety training specialists, Essential Health and Safety are giving Nottinghamshire businesses the opportunity to try their new health and safety policy service first and for free. Businesses in the East Midlands are being invited to book a free health and safety policy assessment, which can be conducted during or after business hours, before the service is launched to the rest of the country next month.

Danny Mee, training manager at Essential Health and Safety said, “We know that the threat of recession and the demands of running a business means many Nottinghamshire firms have very little free time to dedicate to checking that their health and safety policy is up to date and as comprehensive as it should be. But, with a reported 230,000 workplace injuries recorded in 2009/2010, not tackling health and safety policy issues now could end up costing bosses a lot more than an hour of your time should the worst happen.”

Essential Health and Safety’s new Health and Safety Policy Statement’ service sees a health and safety expert creating a custom policy statement specifically for each individual business. It includes all of the elements appropriate to the company, such as safe entry into confined spaces, first aid at work training, fire prevention, manual handling and lone working.

Essential Health and Safety will conduct an initial assessment of need at absolutely no cost or obligation. This assessment is a great way to find out if the current policy is up to scratch, get peace of mind that the business is fully compliant and if not, discover what needs to be done to keep employees safe as they carry out their duties.

The free assessment also offers a 10% discount code for any additional health and safety training booked within the next 12 months.
