Dr. Dabbagh’s presentation will cover P38 MAP Kinases and the important roles they play in inflammatory responses. Since P38 MAP Kinases are involved in the generation, as well as the signaling pathways of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-a and IL-1b, therapeutic targeting of P38 MAP kinase has been an area of intense pre-clinical and clinical research. Dr. Dabbagh’s presentation will provide preclinical data for P38 inhibitors, the selectivity profile of these inhibitors as well as the safety and efficacy of the P38 inhibitors. The clinical applications of these inhibitors will also be discussed.
