Platinum Circle Sponsors Announced for A Toast to the Triangle™
West Brother’s Transportation Services, Inc. and Stiefel Laboratories Offer $10K Sponsorships
RALEIGH, N.C. (February 26, 2010)—Mary Freeman, president and CEO of Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities (www.tammylynncenter.org), announces the 2010 Platinum Circle Sponsors for the 25th annual A Toast to the Triangle™. West Brother’s Transportation Services, Inc. and Stiefel, a GSK company, and an anonymous donor have each given $10,000 in support of the event.

“We are grateful for the generosity of West Brother’s and Stiefel,” says Freeman. “We appreciate their commitment to our cause.”

West Brother’s (www.westbros.com) is a leading provider of long-term, dedicated contract carriage transportation services. Founded in Durham in 1946, the company is owned by Tommy and Craig West and led by President Michael Flanagan. The company has multiple southeast locations, 22 business centers and more than 500 employees. This is the third consecutive year West Brother’s is serving as a Platinum Circle Sponsor of the Toast.

Stiefel, a GSK company, (www.stiefel.com) is committed to advancing dermatology and skin science around the world. As a global leader in dermatology, Stiefel has extensive expertise in the research, development and formulation of high quality, effective skin care products.

As the signature fundraising event for the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, the Toast offers guests samples from many of the Triangle’s finest restaurants and caterers, as well as friendly competition among the participants. To complement the food offerings, fine wine and specialty beer purveyors will provide samples of regional, national and international beverages. The 2010 Toast will be held March 7 at the North Carolina State University McKimmon Center in Raleigh. More than 1,200 guests attended in 2009, helping raise $191,000 for the Center’s programs and services.

Event information, including participating vendors and sponsors, as well as ways individuals can donate or volunteer for the event can be found online at www.atoasttothetriangle.org.

About A Toast to the Triangle:

The event offers an astonishing array of culinary splendor from nearly 40 of the Triangle’s finest restaurants, caterers and purveyors of fine wines and specialty beers. Attracting more than 1,200 people, last year’s event raised more than $191,000 for the Center’s programs and services. To learn more about this event, please visit www.atoasttothetriangle.org.
