A complete dryer vent inspection and cleaning by the Wizard can eliminate a number of home and health hazards
The Denver Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard explains the many benefits of dryer vent cleaning. Mitchell Chesney, owner of Dryer Vent Wizard, educates his customers on the importance of this essential appliance maintenance task. “Over 17,000 dyer fires occur annually,” said Chesney. “Dryer vent cleaning eliminates a fire hazard and prevents a number of other home and health hazards.”
Most dryer fires are caused by lint accumulation in the dryer vent system, blocking the air flow required for a clothes dryer to operate safely and efficiently.
In addition to dryer fires, clogged dryer vent systems lead to other home and health related hazards. Like any fuel-burning appliance, a poorly vented gas dryer can be a carbon monoxide threat. Service by the Dryer Vent Cleaning DenverWizard can eliminate these hazards.
Since clothes dryers are venting moist heat from the dryer drum to the vent outside, any leaks in the transition duct can mean increased heat and humidity in the laundry area. Excess humidity in homes can lead to mold and mildew growth, causing damage to the walls and ceiling. The mold growth can emit mold spores into the air which are circulated throughout a home via the duct work. Residents who are sensitive to mold can have an allergic reaction consisting of difficulty in breathing, sinus congestion and various upper respiratory symptoms.
According to Chesney, everyone operating a clothes dryer needs dryer vent cleaning performed periodically. Dryer Vent Wizard installs and services dryer vent systems in single family homes, apartments and condos; businesses, commercial laundries, hair salons, spas, government operated homes and more.
