Once aboard, guests can fish, make stops at a number of docks to explore the shore, and in general take their time cruising up the Norfolk Broads. Boating holidays can be anywhere from three or four days to upwards of several weeks. There are five different rivers located throughout the area that guests can explore, including the Bure, Thurne, Ant, Waveney, and Yare. There are also a number of shallow lakes along the way that are great for fishing. All in all, there are almost 200 kilometres to explore. Richardson’s has two different docks guests can depart from, one located to the north in Stalham and the other more centrally located in Acle.
Guests will need to bring a number of different things with them on their boating holiday. While a galley with cooking utensils and crockery is provided, they will need to provide all food and drink. Guests will need to provide towels as well, although bedding is provided. Cleaning materials and toilet rolls are also necessary.
