San Diego, CA, May 27, 2010 — San Diego Fine Art Society (SDFAS), a nonprofit organization committed to strengthening the pulse of the art community, presents ArtPulse:mobile, a new iPhone App that will give San Diegans and visitors unparalleled access to San Diego’s art and culture scene. This Gallery Positioning System will assist people with locating art galleries and museums throughout San Diego County. It will also give details on the latest art events.
“We are committed to keeping San Diego informed about everything happening in our incredible arts community,” said Mary Van Eyk, Director of Operations at SDFAS. “If we are to remove barriers and build bridges, we must start by educating our community on the culturally rich activities happening every day. ArtPulse:mobile will give people the tools they need to stay in the know and get involved.”
To use the application, you must have an iPhone (OS 3.1.2 or later), iPod touch, or an iPad. ArtPulse:mobile allows you to browse a map of the county, search by neighborhood, or find what’s closest to your current location. The ArtPulse Events Calendar will give you information on what’s going on in the arts community.
