“Creativamenti”: The third national meeting about alternative learning and teaching took place at the Astro congress center, with seminars for teachers of various levels and degrees.
Teaching with creativity. New formative teaching methods have been discussed at the Grand Hotel Terme Astro, which hosted, from the 24th to the 28th of October, “Creativamenti”, a meeting organized by Creativ, the group from Reggio Emilia that in the last few years has committed itself to spread the Creative Learning Method in Italy and abroad. This is a project for teachers which aims to facilitate the learning of alternative didactic strategies, capable of enthral and motivate the students.
The meeting involved teachers of different degrees and levels in a formative programme inside the beauty farm of the wellness center among the hills of Parma, regarding the relationship between sound and didactics.
The three-days programme has been very intense, with more than 20 workshops, participations from foreign experts and moments of brainstorming to change the way to hold classes.
The different workshops took place in the conference rooms, provided with the newest equipments, and in the ancient oak tree park surrounding the resort and they reached their climax into the oriental rooms of the wellness center. Here, in fact, the participants experienced the “Eastern Vapours” programme, a sensorial journey starting in the Calidarium, followed by the Tepidarium and Firgidarium. From the sounds of the Hammam to those of the “Casa della Musica” of Parma, where the partakers attended a seminar about music.
On Saturday the highlight of the day was the conference about the languages of creativity, with Giancarlo Cerini, chief of the Regional School Office, Josè Antonio Fernandez Bravo from the University of Madrid e Daniela Rudenauer, inspector of the Enzkreis Province, in Germany. At the end of the conference a certificate of attendance was given to all the participants.
