TAMPA, Fla.–(February 8, 2010)– SDI Diagnostic Imaging (SDI), a radiologist owned provider of healthcare-imaging services based in Tampa, Fla., today announced that it has acquired Brandon, Fla.-based Stratus Healthcare, a full service, teleradiology provider offering 24/7 final interpretation services. The acquisition forms a new company under the SDI umbrella now known as SDI Teleradiology, Inc. The newly formed subsidiary will provide comprehensive, day and night teleradiology services through its existing technical and operational infrastructure.
With the completion of the acquisition, former Stratus Healthcare CEO, David Six will assume the role of senior vice president of SDI Teleradiology. Both Micah Ferguson and Matt Blackburn, former vice presidents at Stratus Healthcare, will assume the roles of teleradiology directors.
