Philly businesses collaborate with The Philadelphia Chamber Music Society to offer patrons new taste sensations.
Philadelphia, PA, February 14, 2011 — When you attend a Philadelphia Chamber Music Society (PCMS) Social Series concert, you’re guaranteed to get more than you bargained for. In addition to sublime chamber music at affordable prices, the PCMS Social Series offers unique pre-performance and intermission offerings courtesy of some inspired partnerships with local Philly businesses.
Patrons could be sampling boutique beer from the Bavarian Barbarian Brewery Company, one of Pennsylvania’s finest craft breweries. Another extremely successful collaboration featured the House of Tea in which six types of tea could be tasted. Cupcakes and fudge from Betty’s Speakeasy provided sustenance for patrons at another classical music performance.
“The collaborations are a perfect fit,” reveals Erik Petersons of PCMS. “We both have similar aspirations – to create something exceptional for our patrons. PCMS offers samples for the ears and eyes — our partners offer taste sensations. It’s also fun to be exposed to something new, be it music or food.”
PCMS welcomes partnerships with like-minded Philadelphia businesses.
