Singapore – Mr. Nickson Cheng, the MD of Lingua Tech Singapore, the leading Translation and Localization company based in Singapore, became the first Asian and Singaporean speaker invited as a keynote speaker at the EUATC conference held in Paris in 2008.
The annual conference, attended by major players from the Translation Industry in EU, is one of the most attended events in the calendar of events in the Translation Industry in EU. The two-day conference, held in Paris in 2008, was structured around the global economy and how translation companies can work across borders.
“It is an honour to be invited to such a highly regarded event in Europe. To be able to represent Asian and Singapore and presenting an Asian perspective to my European colleagues is a very important milestone and achieve both for Lingua Tech Singapore and myself.” said Mr. Cheng.
Mr. Cheng’s keynote address was focused on how companies in EU can work with resources from the Far East. His attendance and address has definitely added an international flavour to the conference and it has generated very high level of interest among the delegates.
