Merritt Wealth Strategies to Serve Triangle and Eastern Wake County
RALEIGH, N.C. (April 15, 2009) – Former North Carolina State Auditor Les Merritt is collaborating with his son, Dale, to form Merritt Wealth Strategies. The duo is sharing an office in Raleigh to provide investment, insurance and retirement planning services to residents in the Triangle and eastern Wake County.

Les Merritt is a certified public accountant and certified financial planner with more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to serving as State Auditor of North Carolina, he owned an accounting practice for more than 20 years.

Since 2005, Dale Merritt has served as a wealth strategist for Raleigh-based insurance and financial services providers Banyan Rock & Talent. He is a licensed life insurance and long-term care insurance broker, and holds several securities registrations including Series 6, 7, 63 and 66.

About Les Merritt:
Les Merritt is a life-long resident of North Carolina who became the first Republican challenger to defeat an incumbent Democrat on North Carolina’s Council of State. Dale Merritt is president of Merritt Wealth Strategies. Having grown up in Zebulon, Dale is eager to provide financial opportunities to the community in which he was raised, offering real estate and retirement planning, as well as other financial services to eastern Wake County.
