Stereo D Stereoscopic Supervisor/Alumnus to address DAVE School Graduation June 2011

ORLANDO, FL – Before walking across the stage to receive their diplomas, The DAVE School’s newest graduates will hear words of encouragement and advice from alumnus Brian Taber. Taber, a 2007 graduate of the Digital Animation and Visual Effects School and a Stereoscopic Supervisor for Stereo D, will be coming home to The DAVE School on June 22, 2011, at 7:30pm to address the graduates at the AMC Universal Cineplex at Universal Studios Orlando CityWalk. Stereo D is the world’s leading producer of 3D feature films whose credits include Avatar, Thor, and the upcoming Captain America.

“Working with my team on our Block 4 3D project was a wonderful experience, and prepared me for Stereo D,” says Taber. “Our final DAVE School project is something I will always be proud of.”

Taber got his big break after graduating from The DAVE School, the world’s leading stereoscopic 3D animation and visual effects school. At The DAVE School he learned the proper work ethic and attitude sought by top employers, and with the DAVE School’s commitment to help students achieve their goals, Brian was able to rise from junior artist to Stereo Supervisor in record time. “The thing I loved most about The DAVE School was my instructors and the opportunity to work with my classmates.”

The graduation festivities will also include a screening of The DAVE School graduate’s Block 4 3D project, Doctor Who, a fan-film based on the BBC hit TV show.

Located on the backlot of Universal Studios, Florida, in Sound Stage 25, The DAVE School’s 35,000 square foot facility includes three labs, a shooting stage with a 65’x 25′ green screen, and a state of the art motion capture system. Offering comprehensive training in stereoscopic camera rigging, stereoscopic motion graphics production, stereoscopic visual effects production and stereoscopic (2D to 3D) conversion, The DAVE School places 85% of their graduates into the 3-D industry for companies including Stereo D, Pixomondo, Digital Domain, and Rhythm & Hues.
