Arcadia, CA, May 25, 2011 — A recent study released by the California based Allergy and Asthma Medical Group & Research Center found that 80% of children will lose their sensitivity to milk, egg, wheat and soy allergies, as well as their accompanying symptoms, by adulthood. The study was cited by Dr. Robert Wood, director of pediatric allergy and immunology at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and noted allergy researcher. Additionally, the study found that 20% of children suffering from more serious food based allergies, including life-threatening peanut allergies, experienced reduced reactions and symptoms over time.
