Sydney, NSW, September 07, 2010 — Taylors UniLink is pleased to announce its new offering of government-accredited Higher Education Diplomas in Business and IT, with up to one year advanced standing into leading universities in Australia.

Taylors UniLink Diploma is a new concept in Higher Education and provides students with access to a wide range of university degree programs throughout Australia, giving students the freedom to choose where they want to study. It combines detailed academic preparation with educational enrichment features to ensure students are prepared for all aspects of university learning. The programs address students learning needs and ensure that they will enter university as confident, capable and independent thinkers prepared for the challenges ahead. Successful graduates can apply for admission with advanced standing to leading universities in Australia.

The Diploma of Business and IT programs are run over one year in a three trimester format. Students can also undertake one or two diploma units during their English language studies, allowing them to commence their Higher Education course earlier. Class sizes are small to maximise interaction and feedback from the lecturing staff. Interactive whiteboards are fitted in most classrooms to ensure a significantly enhanced student experience. Taylors UniLink provides students with the support they need to adapt to the challenges of Higher Education in an Australian context. UniLink Diploma graduates have many course, university and lifestyle options. In addition, Taylors UniLink offers outstanding care and support to the students.

Taylors UniLink Diplomas are available to Australian and international students. Those who successfully complete a UniLink Diploma will gain entry with advanced standing (usually with 1 year’s credit and in some instances up to 10 or 12 units of credit) to a range of leading universities in Australia. These are:

• Bond University (CRICOS 00017B)
• Charles Sturt University (CRICOS 00005F NSW, 01947G VIC and 02960B ACT)
• Deakin University (CRICOS 00113B)
• Edith Cowan University (CRICOS 00279B)
• Flinders University (CRICOS 00114A)
