Knoxville, TN – Master Dry, LLC has played a vital role in seeing the second phase of the intensive Labor of Love project come to completion as Ellen Turner has recently received her freshly renovated home.
Local contractors rallied together to transform the Turner’s home and previously labored to complete the home of her sister, Helen Ashe.
Ellen can now enjoy many upgrades including: a walk-in shower in her bathroom, a new sunroom, updated appliances, laundry room, new carpet, new paint, new siding and a new railing. Not to mention the crawl space and basement repairs cordially provided by the experts at Master Dry.
Turner and Ashe are the cofounders of one of Tennessee’s finest community programs known as the Love Kitchen. Through a 25-year commitment to providing food for the homeless, these sisters selflessly neglected their own needs—mainly their home conditions.
Thus, Master Dry alongside 30 other local businesses, committed to repairing the homes of Turner and Ashe. As the second installment of home restoration has come to a close, the community is closer than ever after having poured back into the lives of these dear sisters.

The Love Kitchen began as a dream in 1984, but quickly came to life in February 1986. Today, they provide 2,000 meals per week, offer clothing plus emergency food packages to the homeless and unemployed. The two sisters have rooted their beliefs in their religious perspectives and three important facts their father shared with them: don’t take the last piece of bread since someone else might be in need of it, the human race is the only race, and the Father in Heaven is the one true Father.
