TheiGroup launches iLondon, an integration of all its existing London operations into a single domain and the latest directory platform.
Bournemouth, Dorset, May 18, 2010 — TheiGroup, a leading UK business directory publisher has announced the launch of iLondon, an expansion of the company traditionally county based directories into London.
The move comes as part of plans to integrate all the directory’s London based operations into one website rather than district based websites which have been in operation until recently. The new iLondon site is based on TheiGroup’s traditional directory platform used by most county based sites and features London news, weather, cinema listings, hotel deals and discounts.
Any new businesses submitted through existing London district based sites will now be appearing on iLondon however these websites will still be maintained with any updates from listed businesses.
Group founder Matt Skerrett commented “We have combined our London sites to one domain as part of plans to move London into line with our latest directory platform. This benefits our users by supporting more features of our platform including cinema show times and an integrated advertising control panel to give more control over listings. Our standard listings are still free of charge giving any business the opportunity to expand their online presence regardless of whether they currently have their own website or not.”
TheiGroup has continued to see significant growth with it’s UK network of local business directories throughout 2010. Currently in it’s sixth year the business directory network has expanded from the original iDorset to now cover over 40 counties in England and has recently launched iScotland and iWales to complete it’s target of complete UK coverage.
