Tradewind move to acquire Newsvendors Equipment

T

Corwen, England – Tradewind, a well established manufacturer and online retailer of point of sale (POS) solutions, announce that they have moved to take over the operations of long-term supplier, Newsvendors Equipment.

Following Newsvendors Equipment proprietor Ray Airton’s decision to retire, Tradewind made the move to add Ray’s metal fabrication business and existing clients to their acrylic fabricating portfolio. Lengthy negotiations followed, but soon, Tradewind Newsvendors & A-Display emerged into the corporate world.

As such, all machinery has been uprooted to the new factory in North Wales since November and all calls and emails have also been rerouted as a result. Tradewind are still learning the ropes after their transition into manufacturing Newsvendors newspaper range of products and A-Display’s pavement signs, but the management are looking forward to a prosperous trading year in 2010.

“We are delighted with our new acquisition and look forward to expanding our operations into another field,” says Terry Rogerson, Managing Director of Tradewind. “As is commonplace in any walk of life there have been a couple of early teething problems, but we are working tirelessly to ensure that we are 100% ready for the New Year. We are also delighted to announce that Ray Airton will be working alongside us as a consultant, and we are enthusiastically looking forward to utilising his expertise in the field.”
