(Jena, Germany – October 23, 2009) – Since his appointment as General Manager Europe on September 1, 2009, Sirko Schneppe (37) has been responsible for the European operations of Truition, a Canadian-German provider of eCommerce and online auction solutions.
Prior to this appointment, he worked at the Truition Headquarters in Canada and served as VP Global Services, putting him in charge of Truition’s worldwide solution delivery and client service. Since 2003, he has also been Managing Director of the Jena-based Truition GmbH, Germany, where he is responsible for the company’s German business development.
Sirko Schneppe has a 10-year track record and brings with him substantial experience from different positions in the eCommerce industry. He worked several years as a freelance Internet Technology consultant before joining Intershop AG in 1998 where he started as Project Manager for National and International software projects. He later took over responsibility for Global Product Management and Product Marketing for the Intershop product portfolio.
Sirko Schneppe is specialist in eCommerce business models and software development. He is a graduate from the Technical University of Ilmenau and holds a degree in Economics and Computer Science.
