UK Mediation Company ADR Group Seeks Mediators Participation in CMC Survey

ADR Group as members of the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) are committed to assisting the organisation and in so doing are seeking participation from all mediators and mediation companies to participate in the CMC online survey.

Bristol, UK, September 24, 2009 — ADR Group support the objectives and actions of the Civil Mediation Council and are actively helping the CMC to get as many professional mediators to take part in their online survey.

The survey organised by the CMC which has been established for six years to help foster the growth of a burgeoning mediation industry. The HM Courts Service for example now offers free mediation in over 8000 small claims courts each year. Both family, other civil and commerical mediation services and practitioners are also much more established and widely used now than ever before.

Michael Lind of the ADR Group says: “As a member of the Civil Mediation Council, we are committed to assisting the CMC in meeting its objectives and in facing its challenges. We continue to work in representing the interests of all mediation providers and mediators in promoting mediation, with the aim in so doing, in improving the understanding of the uses, application and benefits of mediation.”

The results of the questionnaire will be published by the CMC and will help to inform future policy that will affect and support the mediation industry in the UK.
